You flee into the forest. You're not really following a path, just trying to make your way through. Eventually you run face-first into a "Mystery Shack" sign and it knocks you to the ground.
As you sit up, dazed, you can see that this sign points to another sign further up in the forest. Why there are Mystery Shack signs out in the forest is beyond you.

Search around until you find a hollow tree. Then find a hidden branch and pull it to open up a secret compartment in said tree. Then take out a journal that you find inside the tree and read it, discovering several secrets. Take the journal and put it under a black light to reveal further secrets.
