Walk Home at Night

The sun has set.  The streetlights have just started to come on, not yet warmed up enough to penetrate the gloom of the evening.  Silence is all around you, slightly unnerving after the recent crowds that you've been around.

You see a long-legged figure striding up the street towards you.  What do you do?

Keep walking up the street.

Cross the street to avoid it.

Turn around and go the other way.
