Thanks for Advice

"Thanks for the advice," you say.  "Let's have a good game, okay?"

"We just want to make sure that, as a fellow teen, you have ample opportunities to avoid the life of drugs, gangs, and jaywalking that can come from following peer pressure."

"We are fellow teens," the tall one says, reading from a card in his hand.  "Not police officers."

"Now listen, there are a few other important topics that we can discuss.  Like teenage pregnancy, prescription drug abuse, and drinking straight from the milk carton.  Let's talk about those things."

"We are fellow teens," the tall one says, again reading from his card.  "Not police officers."

Four hours later, they finish lecturing you about topics ranging from gun safety to the proper way to arrange flowers.  It's late, and the Lazer Tag place is closing, so you head home for dinner.

Since you forgot to buy a paper, your mom grounds you until school starts.
