See the Bottom

"Sure!" he says.  He smoothly operates the robot with his beard and it begins to dive.  The water gets murkier and murkier, until it is lit only by the beams coming out of the robot's eyes.  "Why look, that's my last robot!"

You look out the porthole and see the hulk of another robot, laying on the bottom of the lake, this one dented up.  You think you see bite marks.

"What happened to it?" you ask.

"The real Gobblewonker gets mad whenever I dive this low," McGucket says happily.  Suddenly the robot shakes as the control room echoes with a loud impact.  "And there it is now!"

Klaxons begin to blare as the robot shudders again.  A giant shape slides by outside.

"Get out of here!" you yell.

"Nope!" McGucket smiles happily at you.  "Robot's busted.  Looks like another one bites the dust!"

"What are we going to do?" you yell as water begins leaking in.

"Don't worry, I have an escape pod!" McGucket pulls a lever and suddenly he is encased in a thick plastic shield.  He hollers something at you, but you can't hear it.  He hambones a message to you, but you don't understand.

A few seconds later he goes rocketing out the top of the robot, water rushes in, and everything goes black.
