Hide Under Display

You dive beneath a nearby display of Chippo's.  The smiling hippo on the front of it mocks you with its joy. 

"Do you think that you can hide from me?" the voice says.

The display begins to rise up, and you crawl from beneath it over to another display, hoping to escape.  As you go, you find a packet of beef jerky! You grab it just as you feel something grab hold of your ankle and drag you out.

"You want jerky, do you?" the ghost hisses.  "Then jerky you will have!"

You feel your skin shriveling as the ghost turns you into human jerky.
