Follow the Stairs

Heading down the stairs quickly, you enter a square chamber that has an arch at one end with strange markings all around it.  The marble tiles on the floor have black latters on them.  You see shadows at the top of the stairs and hear voices.

"Is anybody down there?  You need to come out, now.  That's not a safe place to play."

"Woo!" you hear a bell ringing.  "Conspiracy!"
