Dress as Pioneer

Dressed up as a pioneer, you leave, proud of your new duds.  You're intending to cross back over to where you were, but you hear an angry yell.

"PIONEER DAY!"

Looking up, you are horrified to see a crazed-looking old man steering straight for you!  You run away from him, straight to your house, with him honking at you angrily the whole way.

The commotion brings your mother out, and seeing your clothes, she gets angry when she hears your story about sneaking into the Tent of Telepathy.  You have to apologize to Bud Gleeful, and she grounds you for the rest of the summer until school starts.
